In every blog, you enter an ongoing conversation.  Participants  are Richard Rose (R), Mashkinonge (M), the magical fish-sachem, and featured guests who have submitted comments or other material. Unsettling -Things is a conversational platform for talking about goodness and the Human Project. Such a discussion can be unsettling as you become more aware of the ways that humans sabotage their own best efforts. No products or services are for sale. Read the first 3 conversations for  a more complete explanation.

The hosts of Unsettling -Things are Richard Rose and his fictional associate, the magical fish-sachem, Mashkinonge.  Other participants are the many members of the Fellowship of the Attentive, a group dedicated to the Human Project even if the conversation unsettles their usual frame of reference.  As they take on unsettling situations, members of the Fellowship, like first responders, first treat the wounds. That is, in their work,  they neither deny problems nor create perfect plans but attend to immediate needs. The third conversation lists Rose's music and books, including the Bulletins of Mashkinonge (2025), which describes work on the Human Project.

When new conversations on Unsettling-Things are ready, they are released  the first and third Sundays of the month. Conversations include material both by the hosts and by contributors like you.  All material is moderated by the hosts before being included in a conversation.
